佛光大學推動的「垂直整合專題課程（VIP課程）」計畫，旨在結合校內教師的專業領域與研究方向，建構橫跨大學與研究所的學習歷程。計畫以「專業專題」或「專業研究」為核心，引導學生從大學階段即開始投入專業知識的培養與跨年級團隊合作，透過逐步深化的課程安排與實作訓練，累積研究能力與問題解決能力。
The VIP (Vertical Integration Project) Program at Fo Guang University aims to integrate faculty expertise with student learning by establishing a comprehensive academic path from undergraduate to graduate levels. Focusing on professional projects and academic research, the program encourages students to begin developing specialized knowledge and teamwork skills during their undergraduate years through structured training and hands-on learning.
此計畫強調大學與研究所間的垂直銜接，學生在進入研究所後，除延續自身研究發展外，更可擔任助教或學長姐角色，輔導學弟妹一同參與教師主導的研究計畫，實踐「以學習促教學、以研究促成長」的理念，達成培養具備研究素養與團隊合作能力的高階人才目標。
The program emphasizes vertical integration between undergraduate and graduate studies. Graduate students not only continue advancing their research, but also take on mentoring roles, guiding undergraduates in faculty-led research projects. This approach embodies the philosophy of “learning through teaching and growing through research,” with the ultimate goal of cultivating high-level professionals equipped with research competence and collaborative skills.！
